Makes sense, but the location was near Isaac Hunter’s Tavern. You have to admit, in 1788, a legislator may have needed a refreshment after riding on horseback to town. These days, though, the city has more going on. There’s lots of retail shopping and grocery distribution to name a couple of obscure things. John Edwards is a Raleighite.
