North Hills celebrates Fashion Week September 16 & 17
Start your weekend a day early this Thurs. evening (9/16) at the upcoming North Hills Girls’ Night Out. In celebration of Fashion Week in New York, the North Hills’ boutiques are opening their doors, pouring champagne, and showcasing their latest designer collections hot off the fashion runways. From 5:30pm until 7:30pm, stroll, sip, and shop with your friends and enter-to-win a $200 North Hills Gift Card at any of the shops along your route. Everything from jewelry, to jeans, to furniture can be found among the nearly 100 businesses that occupy the area that has become known as Midtown.
Meanwhile, all week long, you can recycle your own gently used fashions by making a donation to Dress for Success Triangle NC, a not-for-profit charitable organization which provides suits to disadvantaged women seeking employment. The Tyler House and Brother’s Cleaners in North Hills are accepting donations on behalf of the organization through this Friday (9/17).
Following the special night of shopping, Friday evening (9/17) offers fun for the entire family at the North Hills Block Party from 5pm – 10pm. Complete with live music, the party unfolds near the Park and Market Apartments where you can check out some of the new restaurants and businesses at the North Hills Expansion.
